We've used Google Apps for employees and students for a couple years. We
were using Postini before Google Apps and continue to use it for spam and
archiving . We retain employee email for a year. We haven't had any legal
stuff to deal with in a few years. Searching archives in Postini is easy
enough. We do allow our users to share documents.
