Not sure people know this, but apparently Verizon workers have voted to go
on strike, August 7th.

I was speaking with a relative, and he said they are
most certainly striking. (Union and Management are very apart from demands)
This will really only affect East Coast in the United States, but if you
hadn't heard the grumblings of strike, here's a heads up.
