I'm sorry, I realize now that I was very vague. I am referring to a web presence for faculty, staff, students, and possibly applicants and alumni, which provides single sign-on and possibly integration for the web software in use on campus. For instance, integration of email, learning management systems, library databases, timecard systems, housing reservation systems, and the kitchen sink. We are in the middle of a project to implement this type of software, and it was asked of me what other schools use.

Thanks,

-Jordan

So - what exactly do you mean by constituent portal?

I only ask because we have several different things that we call portals:

1. Web presence for staff/faculty or students 2. a NAC (type thing) for single-sign-on for wireless/wired for guests/students/staff/faculty 3. Helpdesk front "receiving area" where clients can input their own ticket information 4. CMS central single-sign-on and announcement area

I think we have a couple other things (including an intra-net student center where student employees can log on to our student employee management
package) . . . all of which are referred to as the "Portal"

:D
