I decided to forward part of this thread to the big ResNet list so
everyone could see how much they missed by NOT attending this year's
conference. Our Yale hosts were gracious, the food was delicious, and
the venue perfect! However, the collective knowledge of all of the PDS
and regular session presenters, and the outstanding work of the program
committee led by Chester makes this one of the best conferences ever. I
hope those of you who did not attend are feeling suitably regretful by
now. You do not want to miss next year, as the ResNet organization has
really turned a corner and is the only professional organization that I
know of that delivers a conference focused solely on STUDENT computing.
That said, thanks again to everyone at Yale, including your CIO, and
thanks to everyone who presented for sharing your knowledge and
enthusiasm with the rest of us.

On the heels of Steven's message I also wanted to send a big Thank You
to everyone involved in hosting Resnet, the Yale staff, students and
program committee were amazing.
I hadn't been to Resnet since San Diego so it was nice to reconnect and
it was fun to have strangers come up to me and already know who I was.
Thanks for the hug Erin. :-)
I'm sorry I was not at the Monday afternoon/evening sessions. I tried
to last as long as I could but finally had to Tap Out. (mma fans will
get that)
I look forward to seeing you all in 2012 in sunny California!
