Neil,
Our Cisco WCS generates alerts when Rogue AP's are detected. If the rogue's hardwire connection is traceable, then we locate it and send an email to the resident(s) asking them to disconnect and power off the AP. If they do not comply within 48 hours, then we block the MAC of the rogue AP.

Subject: Enforcing Rogue AP policies in dorms
How do you go about preventing residents from installing their own AP's in
dorms where you have wireless already installed ?
What do you do when you find an AP ? Knock on doors ? Disable ports ?
Thanks.
