We would like to get away from all the paper forms and automate
looking for overdue equipment which is loaned out to students.
I used an Access template one year but it was a disaster. The
students workers who entered the information somehow lost records.
Rather than make a homegrown database (don't have the time to
create and test), I would like to purchase one that will read barcodes,
keep an inventory, track who has the equipment and what is overdue.
Anyone currently using a program to do this? I don't want to spend
tons of money for this.
