Good afternoon all,
we're seeing a trend of disappearing options under the "advanced" tab
in wireless card drivers.
used to be, you could change preamble, tx strength, band preference (a,
b/g, n), and other things.
now, it seems that there are fewer and fewer options to use and try to
help people.
even the new netgear cards seem to have almost no options, they used to
be the best in our opinion.
Can anyone recommend a card that is A/B/G (N would also be great), USB,
and allows the user to choose a preferred band?
it's useful to us to be able to force specific users up to the A band
when they get into a b/g lite area.
Thanks!
