We use Confluence for both a Knowledge Base and an internal technical wiki.=
 I'll echo Andrew's sentiments.

Nick,

We use Confluence for general University wikis and for our ITS KB content. =
It can publish publicly, to only authenticated viewers via LDAP, or to spec=
ific users or groups defined in the system. This was a relatively recent ch=
ange from static HTML or PDF instructions and information and, in my opinio=
n, has proven to be a dramatic improvement for accessibility, searchability=
(content crawl and keywords), and ease of updating.

Hello, everyone.

Do any of you have any positive experience with wiki or knowledge base prod=
ucts? We're looking for something that might serve both our clients and ou=
r technicians. It would be ideal, though may not be absolutely necessary, =
for it to have different levels of access for authenticated and guest acces=
s.

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations - or warnings! - you might ha=
ve!
