Hi
We all have our little cool "thing" that we use to do something in a way
that nobody else seems to do (that we know of. . . for all we know, we have
all re-invented the wheel 40-odd times! ROFL)
I know I have some things I do in my own unique way - well, everything I do
is done in my own unique way. . . that's because I'm, well, unique! But
that's a different discussion, isn't it?
In any case, we'd love to hear about your cool tool or see you demonstrate it!
What would be a cool tool?
How about your student worker scheduling system? I know of at least 4
homegrown systems that are quite awesome and fill four different niches!
That's cool!
How about your print metering system?
How about how you manage printing posters? Always been messy for me. . .you
have a better way? Tell me!!!
Do you use a classroom management package (aka a proxy system) so your
faculty can send the instructor's screen to everyone and so forth. . . ? We
want to know and to see!
Do you have a nice system to keep lab conflicts to a minimum during
high-traffic times (for me this means Senior Thesis, which is coming up. .
.) ? What is it?
Heck, do you have something that you had high hopes for, and yet it FAILED?
YES - we want to know about that too! In fact, failures, and the learned
lessons from it, make some of the BEST presentations!
We're looking for presentation proposals for the 2011 Student Technology
Conference at Yale (http://resnetsymposium.org/resnet2011/) and we need YOUR

Friday, 3/25 . . .
Please - we want YOU!!!
