...to share your leadership and management experience with us at the 2011 Student Technology Conference in New Haven, Connecticut!!
* Do you have a student management/leadership team/program?
* Have you experienced leadership training for you or your staff that you think highly of...or not?
* Do you develop your staff (career or student)?
* Have you discovered effective ways to communicate with your staff, or with those outside of your department?
* Do you do strategic planning have you been able to incorporate it into your department/unit?
* Have you made subtle or drastic management/leadership changes in your organization that have made a difference?
* Do you have a successful method for managing staff or projects?
* Do you have a successful hiring method/process?
* Have you been able to learn from management mistakes?
* Do you have a list of 10 things to avoid as a manager?
* Have your policies and procedures been effective?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you have something to share with us at the Student Technology conference that would probably fit in the Leadership and Management theme.
If you will share your experiences with us (individually, with another presenter, as a panel, or as a mediator for a BOF), you can help generate the plethora of discussions that will make the Student Technology conference a great experience for those who come. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Do you have an idea that doesn't fit in this theme? NO PROBLEM! We have a theme for YOU!
Please submit your idea for consideration at:
http://resnetsymposium.org/resnet2011/program-request-for-presentations/
Proposals are due March 11th, but that is just two weeks away. Don't hesitate, take a few minutes right now to jot down some ideas. PLEASE!
Let us know if you have any questions!
