Hi,

We duplicate several hundred disks through the course of the year and have a
need for the print job to look professional, so we've been hanging on to an
Amtren printer that has always been one step from being thrown off the roof.
Now it has died (by its own hand). We're looking for a replacement.

Does anyone have recommendations for a printer that prints directly on the
disk (not to a label) and can handle a few hundred print jobs a year? There
doesn't seem to be much on the market between an inkjet all-in-one from
Canon or HP that also does CDs and a high-end dedicated machine that might
cost $900, like the Primera Bravo.

I don't mind manually loading disks as long as the printer worked
consistently. Or, I guess I should say I don't mind having our students
manually load disks! ; )
