We mainly use Dell on this campus, but we are not exclusive to Dell as a whole campus. Within Auxiliary Services, we buy mostly Dells (with a little diversity in the laptop area).

We are satisfied with their reliability and service response; we are not an authorized warranty repair service but have that available to us from central IT.

Subject: satisfaction question

Folks

It seems as if every year this question comes up. I am sorry for repeating it, however we are looking at are largest computer refresh (upgrade) ever on our campus (430 computers). Therefore we want to make sure that we are getting the biggest bang for our buck. My Director and I were considering the possibility of changing our computer vendor. We have three questions and would appreciate any responses.

 * What brand of computer do you use (manufacturer, as in Lenovo, HP, etc)?
 * How satisfied are you with their reliability and serviceability?
 * Are you an authorized warranty repair service for the brand your school uses?

Thank you in advance for your information. Your experiences will help us to think through our options.
