You probably didn't read my original message. My idea is, allow remote
access only when the athena usage falls under a certain point. So, that,
people who don't have resnet would still be able to log on at an athena
cluster remotely. But, when the clusters become free, resnet (or even
non-resnet) users can telnet to them.
A minus point of my idea is, I don't know how hard it is for IS to actually
implement the login screen thingy and all the other changes that I
consider similar enough to existing software that athena has. And that
I don't know how many people this scheme will benefit. Other than that, I
strongly believe that we could utilize our resources better.
