This is completely false. If the cards were not on the market, then the MCC

The old Linux driver was broken. It is not the fault of the card. Chris
Murphy worked with the person that writes the Ethernet drivers for Linux
and fixed the AT-1700 driver. Chris met with Greg Hudson and has set him up
with the working driver. You should be able to get it from the SIPB Linux
team and tsx-11 within a few days.
