The AT1700AT sold by MCC is a new card which is not even out on the
market yet. It has new features (such as the higher IRQs) which are
NOT supported by the latest linux network driver. To get it to work,
you need to set it to one of the lower interrupts. Even then, I am
finding it to be a bit flaky at times.
I plan to return mine, and I'm going to order a bunch of ne2000
clone cards (these are compatible with even more software than the
at1700 cards), that will have the same UTP and AUI plugs needed here
plus a coax connector in addition (in case you need to use it somewhere
else), and they will be around $60. Anyone interested in one, send
me email.
