We have a Fluke Nettool. It provide this and more functionality, but at a
much greater expense. (It lists at $2000, but we received it free as part of
a bundle with something else)
http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.asp?EDC=368394 for quick list of
features.
Just thought I would offer a small comparison. For $350, I think you have
found a great deal.

Subject: Connection Tester
I have been searching for a low cost, reliable, easy to use connection
tester for a couple of years now and have tried several different testers
with poor results on the reliability scale. My ResNet network is in need
of a reliable tester because we have about 200-300 bad ports each year
(poor DSL implementation).
We've run across a new tester that looks like it might work and be low cost
($349). I'm wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with the
Pinger Network IP Tester from Psiber? They claim that it's a device that
get's an IP address from a DHCP server, pings, checks send and receive data
integrity, measures round trip time, and warns about reversed
polarity. This sounds like what we are currently doing with laptops.
.....Anybody have any experience with this device?

Thanks in advance for any replies,
Andrew
