Hi.
The recent email to this list by Sony Zuker in regard to in house software
use made me decide to raise a possibility with the readers of this list.
I'm a restech at the Evergreen State College.
For the past year or so I've been working on a php/mysql based call
tracking system for the restechs here on campus. Our call volume is
(relative to many of your institutions) relatively low, but even with only
1000 students to support, we were running into problems without adequate
call tracking software.
I'm working a second version of the system (now that I know a thing or two
more about programming) and I was wondering if any of you or the students
who work for you would be interested in this system. I graduate at the end
of this year, and would like to see the effort I've put into this project
not stop with my graduation.
Would any of the readers of this list be interested in a free, platform
independent call tracking system that would be appropriate for small
(<1000) to medium sized (1000-5000ish) student populations?
So far it supports a working list of open calls, an archive search of
closed calls, a duty log poster/archiver, and a work schedule poster/archiver
Feel free to respond here, or to me directly.
Thanks for your time.
