We are looking at networking some additional dorms this fall. One possibility
is wireless networking, since some of our dorms may be replaced within a
few years. _Network World_ for August 9 has an article about a company
named Metricom, Inc., which has a wireless LocalTalk which they will be
installing for Stanford soon.
Is anyone from Stanford able to respond with some details?
Does anyone have an address/phone# for Metricom?
The article also says they did an installation for Apple in Cupertino.
