I'm the Network Technician at Reed College in Portland, OR. We are looking
at networking additional dorms this fall. One possibility is wireless
networking, as some of our dorms may be replaced with better buildings in
a few years. _Network World_ for August 9 has a n article about a
company named Metricom, Inc., with a wireless LocalTalk which they will be
installing for Stanford soon.
Is anyone from Stanford able to respond with some details?
Does anyone have a address or phone# for Metricom?
It also says they did some work for Apple Computer in Cupertino.
