The card entry system at Bowling Green State University has an alarm that
sounds if doors are propped open. The front desk is staffed 24 hrs a day, 7
days a week, thus students know that personnel DO respond to propped doors.
However, the issue of multiple people entering at the same time is a
problem. To date we have not yet implemented such a system for computer
labs. (though we are considering it)
