Mail to resnet-forum@mit.edu has been archived on the World Wide Web since
December of 1993. The archives can be found at
http://www.nwu.edu/resnet/resnet-forum/

Right now, there are no search tools available, nor have the messages been
edited very much; therefore, it's not really very easy to find information.
This is mainly because the archiving happens very automatically, and
therefore doesn't take much of my energy; installing search tools wouldn't
take _too_ much energy, and maybe the whim will take me sooner than later.
Deriving an FAQ from those archives would take more time and energy than I
feel like spending, but perhaps people who are actively going through the
archives for their own purposes would do the service of summarizing their
findings? I'll gladly find a way to incorporate an FAQ into the archives,
if such a thing develops.

Some of the organizations who have developed residential networks have
supporting documents on the internet; an index of resnet info on the Web
can be found at:
        http://rescomp.stanford.edu/others.html

Good luck!
