Looked worth investigating until I realized it was 2.4 GHz only.  It might work for you, but with a relatively high density of these in a residence hall, the interference would be pretty bad, not to mention all of the extra interference from all of the other noise in this band.  If they made a dual radio version of this I would be very interested.  I'd still be interested in hearing the results of your tests.
