We have this arrangement with our local provider. They bring their 35 channels
to our headend where their responsiblity stops. Our two way 550 MHZ system
provides 80 forward and 5 return channels. We allocated the first 40 to the
local provider with 3 Colby originated channels allocated to the higher range.
The reverse capability is trapped so it doesn't flow back into the community
(not that anyone could see the stuff ...) but still allows us to rebroadcast
from just about any location on campus whether it is a lecture, sports game
or performance.
