Not directly related to any posts about SSIDs. . .
I recently heard a talk about HotSpot 2.0. While this doesn't replace
SSIDs, it does relegate them to lesser importance. What if every time you
opened your cell phone you had to choose from a long list of service
providers before you could make a call? Not very functional. But that is
what we often get to do with WiFi. This is a plan to change that.
