It all falls under the IT department. In fact, all of the support for
students, faculty, and staff and all of our computer labs fall under my
director, the Director of Technology Support Services. Organizationally,
it doesn't really matter though. We have such a small IT department (33
FTE's). Needless to say, we all work very closely with one another. The
only computer labs that don't fall completely under us are labs
owned/managed by different academic departments, but we still manage the
lab image. We just don't handle staffing or hours.
