We just switched to Bomgar. Bomgar works on Mac, Linux, Windows, Android, =
iOS, and Blackberry. Depending on how you configure the appliance and your=
firewall rules, it can work across the Internet (we have opened it up so t=
hat we can support across the Internet)
We reviewed Team Viewer, LogMeIn, and NetOp along with Bomgar
We chose Bomgar because of the following:
* Multi-platform/device
* No need for a pre-installed client
* Can install a client on managed devices
* Can easily pull other support staff in on the remote session
* Pulls system information automatically
* Can push scripts
* Built in Chat
* Central management of access
* Can pull in 3rd party vendor support (even if they are not using =
Bomgar)
* Integrates with Active Directory for support agent access
* Simple VMware appliance (making it easy for our Network/Applicati=
on support team to implement the appliance)
