I've stated this opinion before, but I've found that in most circumstances
the cost of these programs and their upkeep exceeds the benefit... a
comprehensive insurance policy is usually the best compromise between
losing a few pieces of hardware a year vs. spending more on security than a
few laptops a year cost.
Sure, recovering a laptop sounds great. In reality, just knowing where it
is often isn't enough to get the police to take action.
