Because I was the "computer guy", I was asked to install a Verizon and a
AT&T microcell at a camp. I knew only that these things existed and the
picture based instructions were awesome. As Kathy mentioned, the AT&T one
requires registration and has a max of ten numbers. This made it almost
useless for the random camp attendees. The Verizon one didn't require
registration or have a limit. They took the AT&T one back. Since the setup
was near a window, I was able to connect the GPS with a cable and it worked
fine. It did take the Verizon device what seemed like an eternity to phone
home and sync up. I'm not sure if they would work without the GPS.
