Last summer at the University of Delaware, we wired all the residence
hall rooms for cable TV, voice, and data. We recently surveyed the
resident students and are interested in comparing our usage figures
(particularly the network connection ones) with those at other
Universities. If you have this information and are willing to share it,
I would be very grateful.

Computing
80% use computers
37% have a computer in their room-triple the amount
since November 1991, the last time information on this topic
was taken
47% of the students who own computers are connected to
the network-that figure also tripled since 1991
Voice Mail
99% of the students surveyed have activated their
telephone answering mailboxes
One-third have activated their personal mailboxes
