One of the most important aspects of the Internet is that it allows people to
_publish_, rather than just consume, information. If you have the bandwidth
then this kind of activity should be encouraged (IMHO).
At Sonoma State we allow full internet access from nearly all terminals on
campus - including the dorm network. In the Dorms, we officialy support a
package of network clients that covers ftp, gopher, telnet, www, pop mail,
etc..
