I've noticed a lot of people talk about their "Residential" computing programs.
I'm curious to know where, in the organizational breakdowns of your campuses,
these programs are housed. Is it the case that the central computing
organization has become more distributed and instead of (or in addition
to, duties that encompass central help desks and taking care of clusters), that
organization also supports the network connections and users in the residence
halls? Or is it the case that the Office of Residential Life has diversified
and now takes on the responsibility for supporting the hall network connections?
OR...is it the case that the two organizations have formed a project team of
sorts and the residential computing is supported by both?

I'd like to hear both from people who are already doing residential network
support and from people who are, like us, just looking at making these
decisions. Which option did you/will you choose, and why?
