Facebook/Instagram mess continues: TOS changes aborted

http://j.mp/R81NRo (New York Times)

"In the aftermath of an uproar over changes to its privacy policy and
terms-of-service update earlier this week, Instagram did an about-face
late Thursday. In a blog post, Kevin Systrom, Instagram's co-founder,
said the company would revert to previous terms of service in effect
    since October 2010."

Egads. This whole saga has been incredibly embarrassing for
Facebook/Instagram. I'd sure like to know who the blazes vetted the
original terrible changes in the TOS! And what does this *really*
mean going forward?
