Google reverses, will roll back Chrome Stable 128 for now

Google has released the following statement relating to my concerns
regarding Chrome Stable 128 being incompatible with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
(including when under extended support to April 2028) without prior
warning being given.

Thanks Google for taking my concerns about this seriously and for this
action. -L

"We recognize we caught some in the ecosystem off guard by this, and
have decided to reverse the change and maintain support for Ubuntu
18.04. We will publish a build that restores compatibility next week.
We do plan to drop support for 18.04 in the future, but will be sure
to provide additional notice ahead of any changes."
