Google plans massive expansion of Search AI Overviews plus ADS! Oh yummy!
Sundar appears to be insisting that the feedback they've been getting
on Google Search AI Overviews (AIOs) is almost all positive (uh huh,
yeah, right) and they're ready to massively expand them in Google's
continuing rush to destroy Search. Especially because apparently 18-24
year-olds are just lovin' AIOs. So sure, turn Google Search from a
useful tool into Tik-Tok Tragedy. We get it. Oh, and ads are coming
soon, so don't fall in love with your workarounds to block AIOs, boys
and girls. 'Cause G could kill those with a few keystrokes and a push
to prod. -L
