CrowdStrike's preliminary explanation for their Windows crashing mess
Here it is. Boiling it all down, my interpretation is:
1) Their test procedures in this case failed.
2) The particular kind of file being deployed was apparently
not subject to the kind of gradual rollouts that are
used for other components of their system.
