After years of work, Google decides NOT to abandon third-party cookies

My take on this is that the regulatory issues surrounding the replacement
(Privacy Sandbox) and the technical challenges of actually eliminating
third-party cookies everywhere without breaking significant parts of the
Web, has just been too much. I'm glad to see Google willing to back off
on this and move forward in a different way. -L
