Um, if one on this list, one has presumed oneself to be pretty competent.
If one is competent, one doesn't attempt to shift blame onto the technology,
or the list administrator, or the list's header.

Yes, I disagree. As set now, the default is to share information. That is
the primary goal of this list.
If you make the default behavior to NOT share information, you defeat the
purpose of this list.
Suggest that those concerned about this issue learn to
(a) use their mailer more efficiently, and
(b) use a mailer that lets one see headers.
