And, in case you need it, a dial tone just happens to be a nice A-440. :-)
(Stumbled across this. Needed to be in "standard tuning" one day, no
piano in sight, and thought: "Hey, wait a sec'. There must be a way to
get a benchmark from any phone..." Guitar players: Impress your
friend(s)! Pick up the phone and tune your guitar. People like it.)
