i have seen several good points made here -- particularly the quoted Bible
passage. very apropos.
once again, it seems certain parties are wont to over-react and see this
as a simple black-n-white issue. not so. i concur with A. Rattray's
words -- you would be surprised how many hackers and *crackers* make a
fine living in this industry. additionally, you would have to be some-
what naive not to realize that many of the pillars of the White Hat
community have taken part in hacker/cracker activities, gatherings, and
writings. this statement should not be a surprise to *anyone* who claims
to be a security guru/kaiser/expert.
