I think that the Nominations Committee bylaws are more parallel to the
bylaws of another regular UA committee than the ASA bylaws. The ASA is
unique in, among other things:
* Having a President elected by another body, rather than appointed by
the UA President
* Being a joint committee with the GSC

I don't really want to see the Senate bylaws filled with a dozen
committee bylaws. I'd like the committee bylaws to be a separate
document. (IIRC, all committees are nominally supposed to have them,
though I don't recall where that's stated.)

Thus, I'd like to request the following amendments:
* Strike last whereas clause
* Replace last that clause with "That these Bylaws be added to a
cohesive set of committee bylaws maintained by the History Committee"
* Strike last that clause

Thanks,
Alex
