Hi Senate,

Chiming in off the -listeners list, I would personally really like to
see the space utilized in some way that opens up more office and storage
space for student groups - either as student group space itself, or as a
place that another space-utilizing group could move to, leaving student
group space in its wake. I'm sure the ASA has the full details on the
student group space situation, but I know that office and storage
allocation requests are always tight, and I think helping student groups
is one way the UA can have a large positive impact on student life.

Also, when considering a game room, the reasons why the old game room
failed should be considered. Similarly, when considering a food
establishment, the restrictions on what sorts of utilities (water, gas,
waste disposal, etc) a publicly-accessible food establishment must have
should be considered.

Just my two cents,
- Catherine, Random Hall resident
