Hello Keone,

I will most likely not be able to attend the meeting because I will be
attending office hours for my Unified exam on Wednesday.=A0 If I do get
out early, can I enter after the meeting has begun? keep in mind that
this will also require me to leave early as to not be late to my 10pm
meeting.

Also, the total came out to $415.=A0 Can you change the Fresh Fund-
Joint request to $415?

Your questions are answered below.=A0 Please let me know if you need
anything else.

* what is the breakdown of expenditures?
Host
=A0 Dana Jay Bien=A0=A0=A0=A0 $125
=A0=A0=A0 (includes opening act, 30-45sec bits in between student comics,
and announcement of the top 8)
MIT AV
=A0 Microphone Stand=A0 $5
=A0 Wired Microphone=A0 $20
=A0 8' Projection Screen on Tripod=A0 $20
=A0 labor costs, over time, projected 4 hours=A0 $220 ($55 per hour)
=A0 Advertisement posters/ programs=A0 $25

Total: $415
(We, however, have tried being thrifty, and the largest cost came from
the labor rate of MIT AV:
1) We got crookedmonkey.com t-shirts to sponsor us (they gave us free
tshirts to give away)
2) Vitamin Water is providing free refreshments (8, 24 bottle cases)
3) We are borrowing a projector from a friend (a $25 rental price from MIT =
AV)
4) Using my own camera and tripod to record the show for website ($50
+ $10 =3D $60 rental from MIT AV)

* how many people do you expect to attend?
=A0 Facebook event currently says 106 confirmed.=A0 Expecting about 140
mit students (ten people per comic).=A0 This is over the course of the
event, so people trickle in and out, usually depending on when they
want to see their comic.=A0 The seating arrangement we set up with CAC
seats 110 guests.

* how many student comedians are competing for the 8 spots?
There are 14 mit student comedians competing for one of the 8 spots!

Thank You

Morris Vanegas
