Hi Senators,
Friendly reminder that the Senate Special Budgetary Committee is
convening *within
the next week*. This committee is a fantastic way of helping shape the UA's
policy and programs for the spring, so please consider being involved.
Moreover, the impact-to-time-input ratio is very high; I expect that the
required commitment will be on the order of 2-4 hours.
If you're interested, please email ua-senate-officers and ua-treasurer.
Please also include an estimate of your availability for Wednesday, November
11 through Sunday, November 15.
We need at least three Senators for this committee, so please consider
volunteering.

P.S. For those who aren't yet aware, the Special Budgetary Committee (SBC)
is an ad-hoc committee formed twice each year, by mandate of the Senate
bylaws, with the purpose of reviewing and refining the UA's operating budget
for the upcoming semester. You can find more in Article IV, Section 7, or
