Hey guys,

I just wanted to send out a bit more information about these guys since
I've been talking with them over the course of the semester/summer.

Jon and Oliver are essentially the generic contact points for projects
affecting students/faculty (i.e. academics and student life stuff). So for
example they have been the main people in charge of the Pharos rollout and
I have been working with them to make any changes to it. They are your
chance to ask questions about how the administration is thinking about the
quota, how it's going, what future plans are, etc. If you questions about
Athena development, RCC hiring, or other things that primarily affect
academics or student life, they would probably be good as well.

Jon is also the head of ISTAB (the IS&T Student Technology Advisory Board),
which generally advises IS&T on issues directly affecting students.

Marilyn is the head of all of IS&T. She reports to the Executive
Vice-President & Treasurer (Israel Ruiz) who reports to the President. She
primarily looks at higher-level and longer-term issues =97 governance of IS=
&T
and various committees, funding for various issues, project organization,
etc. She also sits on many of the technology committees, including MITCET
(MIT Council on Educational Technology) which deals with various
technologies used in education (e.g. they're the folks that decided to
stick with Stellar instead of switching to Blackboard).

Hopefully this is helpful. I have loved working with all three of these
people and I hope you have fun meeting them tonight as well.

Leonid
