agenda for the upcoming meeting.
We have Marilyn Smith, the Head of IS&T, as a guest for the first 30
minutes. Oliver Thomas and Jon Reed will be there as well. Please be in
Senate by 7:30 so as not to waste their (and our) time. They will have a
chance to give a short introduction and then it will be Q&A, so think of
interesting issues you have questions on.
Email me if you are interested in having dinner with Oliver Thomas and
Jon Reed beforehand. This would involve meeting at 6pm in lobby 7.
Alix de Monts (Sustainability Chair) and Alec Lai (Next President) are
presenting a small funding bill for the Trashion Show. I think the bill
and the attachments speak for themselves, otherwise post questions.
Lastly, (and certainly not leastly) the item on constitutional changes.
The only thing I will say is that I hope we will have some definitive
conclusions by the end of this meeting.
We have 1 more scheduled meeting this semester. In addition to
addressing the structural issues we have 1 more responsibility, namely
passing a spring budget. I think that should be the primary focus of the
last meeting. Allan and Alex (UA President and UA Treasurer) will
present more details on the budget process at Senate.
