Hello MIT undergrads,
Welcome back from spring break! As you may be aware, the Division of Studen=
t Life has begun a strategic planning process, the first for the Division i=
n several years. Several weeks ago, two evening sessions were held to elici=
t ideas from current MIT students about how they might envision the future =
student life experience for students coming to MIT in the future. Over thir=
ty undergraduates attended and generated a number of ideas and suggestions.=
With student help, these have since been refined into several distinct the=
mes. You are invited to review and comment on the results. The review sessi=
on will be held:
Monday, April 11 in the Z-Center Media Room (W35-199) 6:30PM Dinner, 7PM
If you wish to come, it is important to RSVP to Alicja Estabrooks at estabr=
oa@MIT.EDU<mailto:estabroa@MIT.EDU>. We will then send you an advance copy =
of the themes and a bit more background..
Please note that the purpose of this session is not at all to achieve a con=
sensus, but to hear from a variety of students regarding where Student Life=
should be focusing in the future. This input will be used in the follow-on=
steps of DSL Strategic Plan development over the course of this calendar y=
ear.
