I think this is an excellent idea that would be of great benefit to the
student body. It seems like it has a lot of parallels with the Saferide TV
that we passed in 41 UAS 5.2. This printer project seems be overpriced, its
probably going to run behind schedule, UA members are not ultimately in
control of the project, but when it does happen, it will be awesome.
Because these two projects are similar, i'd appreciate an update on the
project that we spent $5000 on before we allocate the money for this
project. I would also feel a lot better about voting for allocating the
money for this project if I could see an itemized budget with a small
defense for the different parts of the project. Kind of like student groups
have to do for Finboard, and the Treasurer must do for the UA's semesterly
budget. It just seems like a good process to go through. $1000 is not an
insignificant amount of money, and an explanation of where our pennies and
nickels are going would ease my qualms about this money being used
effectively.

IS&T is funding the purchase of the new printer, which they probably wo=

The Xerox 4150n on <a href=3D"http://kslprinters.com" target=3D"_blank">ksl=
