Dear Exec,
Welcome back to campus! I spent the last few weeks of my summer in India
and got back to campus last week. I have been working this past week with
Devin and the other officers to get prepared for the coming year. This
email contains

*First Exec Meeting Thursday 8/29, 7pm w/ Food, UA Office*
Now that we have all our ducks in a row, I wanted to schedule an exec
meeting for this Thursday to discuss and get your feedback on the operating
structure we have for the next year - the delegation of tasks within the
officers, the schedule and role of Exec and Council meetings and the
Committee Chair check-ins. Please reply to isaacs@mit.edu and CC
ua-admin@mit.edu to confirm attendance.
I will send a more detailed agenda out tomorrow evening, but wanted to
notify people a few days before hand. If there are too many conflicts, we
can reschedule but we wanted to have a meeting before rush/recruitment and
classes started.

The ASA Activities Midway is a great way to get Freshman excited for the
UA, and more important to recruit talent to your committee. The UA has
prime real estate with the front booth at the entrance of Johnson - it is
expected that each of you is present for at least an hour. Please email out
to your Committee members and inform them of the event as well.

Connie Huang has been redesigning the office and that kicks into high gear
with the furniture coming in. Most of the heavy lifting has been done, but
we will need all hands on deck as the furniture will be arriving this week
and next week. Please lend a hand for a few hours over the next few weeks
when required - Connie will email out with what she requires.
