Currently in outland for sun, dec, linux, and rs6k is rclock, a
simple, low-memory analog clock program. Rclock is a very simple, yet
featureful clock that uses much less resources than xclock:
USER PID %CPU %MEM SZ RSS TT STAT TIME COMMAND
yandros 10153 0.0 1.8 328 324 p2 I 0:00 rclock
yandros 10152 0.0 3.8 816 712 p2 S 0:01 xclock
While rclock does not have a -digital option or use X resources (it's
configure entirely from the command line), it adds a simple
appointment feature, intelligent handling of the window and icon
names, a mail-checking feature (that's not useful to most Athena
users; sorry), and an active icon.
NAME
rclock - Simple clock and appointment reminder for X window system
SYNOPSIS
rclock [ options ]
DESCRIPTION
Rrclock is a simple analog clock for the X Window System. It is a
replacement for xclock(1) for users who want to conserve a little
memory. Rclock achieves its memory savings by not using the X toolkit
or any widget set. A simple-minded appointment reminder system is built
in. Rclock will enter reverse video if you have mail waiting to be read.
