I installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader for Suns in the outland locker,
after receiving verification that the license agreement was
acceptable.
There is an incompatibility in the reader's printing functions which
means that in order to print, you need to save the document as a
postscript file, and then print said file. I am looking into getting
this fixed.
Unfortunately, Adobe is not planning to support any other Unix
platforms than Suns at the moment.
To invoke the reader, type
add outland
acroread filename.pdf
Mosaic for the Suns in the sipb locker has been configured to use
Acrobat Reader as an external viewer for Acrobat PDF files, as well.
